The Young Canberra Citizen of the Year awards offer an exceptional opportunity for you to participate in the acknowledgment of some spectacular achievements by our young citizens. This is the 21st year of the awards and the first time that sponsors have been invited to participate in each of the categories. We welcome your participation in this inaugural opportunity.

The opportunity to be part of the process and to contribute to the selection of the finalists you will sponsor.
Acknowledgement
Your generous support will be acknowledged on the website, in selected material relating to the category, on the evening and afterwards in the follow up website.
Marketing Support
We will encourage you to get nominations for your category by providing information that you can use to disseminate through the community.
An Award Night Table
You will have pride of place sitting with up to 6 finalists in your category.
You will have the pleasure of presenting the award to the winner of the category.
You may even have the pleasure of congratulating The Young Canberra Citizen of the Year (who could be the winner of your category).
Satisfaction
The satisfaction of seeing $1,000 from your sponsorship going to a deserved winner, to encourage them to continue their good work.

We hope you will embrace this opportunity enthusiastically and spend some time encouraging people to nominate young people for the awards.
We hope that you will also take an interest in the selection process, but this is not essential.
We hope that you will be able to attend the night and host a table of excited contestants.
Most of all we hope that you will see the value of investing $2,500 (plus GST) in the awards, knowing that $1000.00 will go towards encouraging the winner in your category.

Some sponsors have a natural affinity with some of the categories (like businesses with young entrepreneurs), whilst others are pleased to encourage in an area that represents personal sacrifice.
